Unclog a Toilet With a Plunger

This is a common problem that happens to everyone at some point. The good news is that it’s usually an easy fix. The first thing you’ll need to do is get a plunger. Plungers come in all shapes and sizes, but the most important thing is that it’s big enough to fit over the hole at the bottom of your toilet bowl. If it’s too small, it won’t be able to create enough suction to unclog the toilet.

Once you have your plunger, position it over the hole at the bottom of the toilet bowl. Make sure that the rubber part is covering the hole completely. If it’s not, the plunger won’t be able to create a seal and won’t be able to work properly.

Now it’s time to start unclog a toilet!

To unclog a toilet, stand over it and push and pull the plunger up and down. You may need to do this several times before the clog begins to loosen. Once it starts to loosen, you will see the water in the toilet bowl start to move. Keep plunging until the water starts to drain.

If your toilet is still clogged after you’ve tried plunging, you can try using a toilet auger. A toilet auger is a long, flexible rod that you insert into the toilet bowl to try and break up the clog. To use one, insert the auger into the toilet bowl and start twisting. Be careful not to scratch the bowl with the auger. Keep twisting until you feel the auger hit something. Once you hit the clog, start pushing and twisting the auger until the clog breaks up.

If toilet is still clogged, you can try using a chemical drain cleaner. Be careful with these, as they can be harsh on your pipes. Only use them as a last resort.

If you are tried all of these things and your toilet is still clogged, you will need call a plumber.
